Join Us in Service
As our lives are being transformed by Jesus, we invite those who call Peoples Church 'home' to explore the different ways in which they can use their gifts for God's glory.
Our SERVE teams are so important in the way that we share God's love and impact others for Christ. Believers are called to serve God and serve one another.
We depend on many volunteers to keep our church running. We need volunteers in the nursery, in Sunday School, to greet people at the door, to pray with people after the service, to play in the band, to run the AV equipment, to join our evangelism teams, to serve coffee, to help distribute food, to help run the libraries, to visit shut-ins, make phone calls, to work with children in Awana and so much more.
We will list here some of our ministries that are undergoing a period of growth, rebirth or restructuring and have a particular need at this time.

Food Ministry
It can hardly escape our notice that we are in the grip of a trade war. This can only lead to greater anxiety for those who are in need as well as the potential for more people to lose their jobs, particularly our brother and sisters here at Peoples Church.
We have people in our church family who need our help, we are looking for volunteers to help provide food to those in need. We are looking for 3 groups of volunteers.

Those who have transport and would be available to pick up food donated by local bakeries, usually on a Saturday evening.

Those who are able to distribute food from Peoples Church.

Those who are available to pack food into grocery parcels ready for distribution.
